Insured Status
1. Prospect
Trigger: The insured signs the e-signature proposal (contract).
Process: Once the contract is signed, the AMS records this but notes the policy data as incomplete, lacking details such as the policy number, effective date, expiration date, policy documents, and a binder.
Broker Notification: The broker is notified via email about the signed contract and provided a URL to a web form to submit the remaining required policy information.
2. Client
Trigger: The insured has at least one active policy.
Process: This status is automatically assigned once any of the insured's policies become active, signifying a fully on boarded client.
3. Cancelled
Trigger: The insured does not have any active policies.
Process: This could occur if all policies of the insured are either cancelled, expired, or marked for non-renewal.
